This will be the 88th Annual Red Hill Show.
It is the only agricultural and horticultural show on the Mornington Peninsula and is an iconic event in the area. It is a great day for people of all ages to get in touch with the traditions of seeing,touching and watching the judging of animals.
The return of the majestic Clydesdale and striking Gypsy Cob to this yearââŹâ˘s show has been warmly welcomed by the Red Hill Show Committee. âNot since 2001 have horses been allowed at the Red Hill Show grounds and we are absolutely thrilled at this newsâ, said Bec Davis, the newly appointed Executive Officer.
Once you have your admission ticket there will be many things that are free to see and do ââŹâ the pavilions will be filled with art, craft, cooking, flowers, produce and the livestock competitions will let you get up close to the animals; children can have their face painted, enjoy a pony ride and more. Enjoy the breathtaking Big Air School perform highflying tricks on BMX Bikes, or watch a cooking demo by Masterchef All Star Dani Venn. The woodchop is always sensational and the hot chainsaw races have become a crowd favourite. Watch in awe as the Stiltwalker moves among the crowd. The team from Black Snake Productions will give you a chance to handle some of Australiaâs native wildlife. There will be a petting farm and the Futura Kelpies will be showing off their skills on the main arena. Slowly meander around the Showgrounds and experience the colour and diversity of the stallholders too and who would want to miss the Grand Parade at 2.45pm.
